Position offered:
Server/Waiter/Waitress - IHOP Restaurant (4-6)
Williamsburg, Virginia

English level required:

Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests. Execute the "Service Success Steps: per the IHOP Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure a high quality guest experience. Handle guest experience. Handle guest complaints using L.A.A.F. procedures in a timely manner, inquire about the quality of the dining experience, thank guests, and invite them to return. Communicate guests' food orders and service requests to appropriate team members to meet guests' expectations. Memorize and apply IHOP terminology, abbreviations, methodologies, and plating and menu knowledge. Stock and rotate all needed supplies in the service areas and dining room. Comply with all local and SOP health, sanitation, and safety guidelines. Clear, clean, re-set tables, clean chairs, booths, and floors after guests leave. Perform all cleaning duties assigned by the General Manager, Assistant Manager, acting supervisor and Crew Chief. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this bob, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.



Special requirements:

Start Date Range: 5/1/09 - 7/1/09; End Date Range: 9/7/09 - 10/30/09.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write guest checks and simple correspondence. Ability to read and speak English well enough to understand guest checks, communicate with guests, and read instructions. Must pass level 1 service test and Six Steps of Service test before being able to wait on guests. Students must pass their level 1 test and the Six Steps of Service test before able to wait on guests.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to heat, fumes, and/or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Students should be available to work for at least 3 months.

Must be flexible to work in one of the two locations.

meni deluje skroz ok,ako su ti uslovi za smestaj dobri onda je ponuda odlicna.........nemoj da se plasis zbog plate 2.13 jer je baksis verovatno odlican cim je tako mala plata.i datum za start je fleksibilan sto je super.......
